One of two violent tornadoes that left a trail of destruction on this day. The first, an F3, tore through Oakehurst (approximately 220km's north of Brisbane) and surrounding eareas early in the afternoon. The second, the F4 shown above - the strongest tornado to have ever been officially recorded in Australia - tore through the Bucca and Bullyard areas, west of Bundaberg (approximately 300km's north of Brisbane), levelling 3 homes and unroofing many others.
