EARLY MORNING TORNADIC SQUALL LINE - OCTOBER 14, 2000 The morning started off overcast with periods of rain in most areas of Brisbane, and you could be forgiven for thinking rain was about all we would get. However, by 8:30am heavy showers started developing W and SW of Brisbane. Before long a line of activity developed and began moving towards Brisbane. There were many reports of funnels, tornadoes and suspect lowerings from this line.
